Canon: This is an original character with an original universe.
Description: Metody looks like a living china doll, to his eternal and quiet irritation. He is roughly five feet tall, with sad blue eyes and a delicate bone structure. He wears a worried expression most of the time. While he looks to be in his late teens, Metody is in his mid twenties. He seems a bit skittish.
Metody is a geology grad student and dresses like one: jeans, t-shirt, sandals, bookbag. When he is feeling more formal, he will dip into his collection of hawaiian shirts. In colder weather, he'll wear socks with the sandals before finally switching to a pair of apallingly old sneakers.
Metody is never without his bookbag, ever. This is a cultural thing; it contains protective gear for the frequent environmental problems at home. Additionally, it holds his knitting, a ball of yarn and spare needles for teaching, a book or two, sandwiches and snacks, a flask of tea, a bag of caramel, a bone egg containing his pop-up cube apartment and a surprising amount of money in $US hundreds, and a very small laptop.
Powers: Metody is part of the corpse of a god - specifically, he is the bones. (He is also a nice young man who is oblivious to being anything but a powered human.) This gives him a power and connection with bones. He can sense when they are broken or otherwise warped. He can see them as part of his normal vision, right down to whether or not they're alive. And he has power over them - to heal them, to break them, to change their shape and to call them out to form new creatures if he wishes. His powers are not at all subtle; their use sets off a tolling in the bones of those nearby, making them quiver. He is also able to use this offensively, and will sometimes employ it as a warning.
If carefully tended, Metody's bone creatures will eventually grow. Additionally, he doesn't have to use bones from only one source. He tends to be attached to his little monsters, viewing most of them as a kind of playful, happy dog.
